Fortis Banque (Suisse) S.A., has a long history and rich tradition in advising and assisting wealthy individuals, their families and their businesses. Indeed, our roots in Switzerland date back to 1842. Today the bank operates branches in Geneva, Nyon, Lugano, Sion, Zurich as well as in Dubai.

The banque suisse manages the official gold reserves of Switzerland, which as of 2008 amount to 1145 tonnes and are valued at 30.5 billion. The gold is believed to be stored in huge vaults beneath the Federal Square to the north of the federal Parliament building in Berne, but the SNB treats the location of the gold reserves as a secret.
